Ottawa River Clean-up

Location: Sign-in at Red Cross - Allen County Chapter - 610 S. Collett Street

Route: Starting at the Red Cross building - following the Ottawa River throughout Allen County

Dress: Old clothes, comfortable shoes that can get wet.

GLOVES ARE MANDATORY! WILL BE PROVIDED IF NEEDED.

Sponsors: Member Associations of Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods In Partnership, the City of Lima, the Ottawa River Coalition, Keep Allen County Beautiful, and Wright Refuse.

Volunteers: Representatives from neighborhood associations, area businesses, service clubs, schools, and the general public have confirmed plans to participate. MORE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED.

Minors: Minors (youth under 18 years of age) are encouraged to participate.
A “Volunteer Form” signed by parent/guardian must be completed for each minor and there must be an adult accompanying the minor. One (1) adult may accompany/supervise no more than five (5) minors. Minors not accompanied by an adult will not be eligible to participate. Volunteer forms and safety guideline forms will be available the day of the cleanup.
